Q1. When can I get my money?
A1. Funds will be disbursed to judgment creditor within 30 days after the judgment is collected in full.
Q2. Why does it take 6 months to 12 months average to collect?
A2. Each case is different so there are many variables. Each legal action that we take against the court gives him/her a certain amount of time to respond to the action. This time it is mandated by the court system. In some cases we file several and in others fewer against the debtor.
Q3. Do I receive interests from my judgment in the 50% contingency fee?
A3. No. In many cases we need to domesticate the judgment because the debtor has moved to another state (that costs money), pay legal costs (money from our pockets), search expenses (money from our pockets), filing fees (money from our pockets), and investigation fees (money from our pockets). Most of the time, the interests from your judgment doesn't cover our outlay of costs.
Q4. Will you provide me with a monthly status report on my case?
A4. No. We are not set up to do that. If you want to know what's going on in your case, please write to us. (Fax and e-mail is also acceptable) We cannot give out status reports over the phone we need everything written for record keeping purposes and for your protection. (We cannot verify the identity of the caller.)
